Molded pulp products, taking pulp as the basic material, use equipment and molds to produce packaging products and objects of various shapes through three-dimensional modeling.
1. Slurrying - blending - pulping
Reed, straw hull, sugarcane, wheat straw, bamboo, wood and recycled paper are used as raw materials. After crushing, refining and other processes, the fibers are suspended in water. According to the characteristics of the final product, the pulp fiber length and pulp concentration can be controlled in the pulping process. Adding functional additives (oil repellent, whitening agent, waterproof agent, etc.) and dyes, a series of auxiliary operations were carried out to form pulp meeting the production needs.

2. Molding process
The molding process of molded pulp products refers to a series of methods such as slurry removal and grouting, so that the raw pulp fibers are formed into the shape designed by the mold. The products made through slurry removal process are more uniform, and the products made through grouting process are more consistent.

3. Hot pressing process
Once the molded pulp products are subjected to pressure and high temperature in the mold, its moisture will be removed quickly. Besides, the shape and size of the product can be controlled accurately. Generally, it is used in the production of paper tableware, fine packaging, etc. Fuel, oil, gas, electricity, steam and heat transfer oil are used as heat source.

4. Trimming process
After the molded pulp products are hot pressed, the trimming machine is used to precisely trim the size and cut off the redundant parts.
