Introduction and Production Process of Pulp Moulded Products

Ⅰ. Characteristics of pulp moulded products

Pulp moulded products use discarded newspapers and cardboard boxes as key raw materials, go through a certain preparation of preservatives to make paper, and de-dry and form according to specially made molds, and then go through a series of processing techniques such as air drying, heat treatment, and plastic surgery.

Pulp moulded products are recyclable and support biodegradation. After adding unique processing technology, its products also have excellent moisture-proof and oil-resistant properties, which can completely replace foamed material products, showing the good environmental protection of the products.

Pulp moulded products are highly recommended green products by the global environmental protection bureau, and they attach great importance to environmental protection during their processing. In the whole process, its environmental protection awareness is very strong from the key raw materials used to the end of the whole process.

The raw material of pulp moulded products is waste paper, and in the production process, the pulp molded products mainly undergo physical reactions, and only a small amount of chemical factory objects are added as waterproof coatings, and rather than discharged to cause environmental pollution of the natural environment, most of the chemical factory raw materials are preserved after the products are air-dried.

The tap water in the production line is used in a closed circulation system, which only causes water vapor to evaporate when the product is air-dried, and does not need to be filled with tap water during processing, so the water demand is not large.

After years of development trend and independent innovation, the technology of molded paper pulp packaging has continuously improved the characteristics of machinery and equipment, the production process has gradually improved, and the cost of commodity products has stabilized. Coupled with the environmental protection advantages of pulp molded products, it has become an inevitable development trend for pulp molded products to replace plastic foam products.

Ⅱ. Papermaking process of pulp moulded products

The process uses virgin cardboard, waste paper, cardboard boxes, etc. as raw materials and through the process of pulping, beating and other processes, the paper is turned into the chemical fiber, which floats in the water to produce pulp.

According to the characteristics of the pulp moulded products to be produced, the fiber length and pulp concentration values can be appropriately manipulated to meet the product requirements. Adding a unique modifier to the pulp can make the product moisture-proof and oil-resistant. And the product can also have a variety of colors with the addition of moderate colourants.

Ⅲ. Processing technology of pulp moulded products

1. Vacuum slurry forming method

According to its different structure, there are three methods: cylindrical screen type, rotary type, and reciprocating lifting mechanism.

2. Grouting method

The grouting molding method is to measure the required amount of slurry (raw material) according to different molding pulp packaging products, and quantitatively analyze it and introduce it into the molding core for adsorption molding.

This type of forming method is suitable for standard goods with little change and shape, and this method is often used in kitchenware forming goods. Because the shape measurement cannot be grasped, this molding method is not used in non-standard paper-plastic packaging (industrial production packaging).

4. Drying process of pulp moulded products

Pulp products generally have high moisture content after pulping and forming, so they need to go through a drying process. The drying process uses gasoline and diesel (gas), electricity or steam, rolling oil or other substances as the heat source, heating the gas, and drying the molded pulp products in warm air (180~220℃), using a centrifugal fan Extract the water volatilized from the product, so as to achieve the actual effect of rapid drying.

5. Plastic and cosmetic processing technology of paper moulded products

After the pulp product is formed and dried, the basic shape is set, and then the high temperature and high working pressure are used to make the appearance design neat and beautiful so that it has stronger stability and stronger shock resistance.

The plastic and cosmetic processing technology is generally heated by electric heaters or other thermal substances (such as high-temperature heat-conducting oil), so that the pulp moulded products have a higher temperature (180~250℃), so as to achieve the actual effect of setting.
